Geological Project Site Map

This map highlights the location of the Big Sky Partnership’s geologic sequestration projects. Four of the active Phase II sites include the Basalt Pilot Injection Test in Washington, Kevin Dome Characterization Study in northern Montana, characterization of the Madison Formation in western Wyoming, and the Enhanced Coal Bed Methane Study in northeastern Wyoming. More information about these projects can be found here. Other sites on the map are being explored and undergoing early characterization for future sequestration opportunities.
